Most of the big malls in BGC let dogs in, but each mall group has its own rules: a pet ID, a stroller, diapers, or outdoor areas only. This guide covers what to expect at each mall before going.

Note: Pet policies in this post are accurate as of October 16, 2026, when this post was written. Mall rules can change at any time, so check with each mall’s concierge or official pages before visiting.

  • Uptown Mall (Megaworld): pets welcome with a free digital Pet Pass.

Ayala Malls sorts its malls into three tiers:

  • Lax tier (Bonifacio High Street Central and East, Serendra): household dogs and cats of any size may go indoors and outdoors, as long as the owner keeps control.
  • Limited tier (One Bonifacio High Street): only small dogs and cats under 30 lbs, inside a stroller or carry-on bag.
  • Hybrid tier (Market! Market!): each mall decides where pets may go, leaning toward outdoor areas.

In all tiers, the dog needs a collar and a leash no longer than 5 feet, and an Ayala Malls Pet ID from the concierge, which requires vaccination records. Pets must stay out of a 10-meter radius around children’s play areas. Diapers are required or “highly encouraged” depending on the tier.

Uptown Mall (Megaworld)

Uptown Mall on 9th Avenue corner 36th Street uses Megaworld’s Digital Pet Pass. Scan the QR code at an entrance or the concierge, fill in the form, and the confirmation page works as a day pass. The digital pass arrives by email within 24 hours. Carry the dog on escalators, enter only shops with a pet sticker, and clean up after the dog.

Pets are a regular part of life at Uptown. In a recent example, Uptown Bonifacio’s official Facebook page posted on 28 January 2026 about Pawfect Match, a pet adoption event held in the Uptown Mall Atrium from 31 January to 1 February with Cats of BGC and Project Kuna. Tips for Mall Visits With a Dog

  • Bring the vaccination record (a photo on the phone helps) for pet ID desks.
  • Use a stroller or carrier for small dogs in busy or limited-tier malls.
  • Carry or stroller the dog on escalators. Paws and fur can get caught.
  • Pack a diaper for long visits, plus waste bags and wipes.
  • Bring water, and plan a toilet break outside before going in.
  • Keep visits short for puppies and first-timers. Crowds, echoes and smooth floors are a lot for a young dog.
  • Look for the pet sticker on shop doors before going in.
